From his earliest days, he showed love for music, especially the love for singing, which has marked his entire life so far. At the age of 16, Matija met a singing teacher and pedagogue Denis Vasilj, who gave him maximum support, and after 4 years of practicing, learning and music education, he collaborated with Nenad Ninčević and Branimir Kopitović on her recommendation.

Since then, things have been on an upward trajectory, he performs in the Split CNT at the "Runjić Evenings 2013", participates in the game show "I Love Croatia" as a backing vocalist in the band Ante Gele, releases his first single. In 2015, she presented herself at the Zagreb Festival with the song "Jesam", written by Nenad Ninčević and Branimir Kopitović. Shortly after the festival, he was awarded by Zlatko Turkalj Turky with the "My First Music Pub" award for the best young singer in 2014. In addition to numerous performances, further effort and work on his own original works, Matija today performs as a backing vocalist of the Croatian "The Voice" Jacques Houdek, and as a soloist of the Jazz Orchestra of the Croatian Armed Forces, which in recent years has been successful on large stages throughout Croatia and beyond.
