This weekend, a rich program for young and old moved the weekend rush hour from the Riva to the favorite shopping center of the people of Split. With an unlimited dose of good energy, sweet flavors and rich discounts, Mall of Split celebrated its 9th birthday, and numerous performers were responsible for the crazy party, creating an atmosphere to remember.

The program began on Friday afternoon, and the youngest visitors were the first to arrive, enjoying the interactive show "Granny Fix". Through games, rhymes and fun tasks, the children mastered the basics of English and Spanish, learning new words in a way that was both entertaining and educational. This was provided by the Helen Doron language school, whose unique approach to learning allowed children to acquire foreign words spontaneously and with ease. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and curiosity, and the biggest surprise came when, thanks to the fun approach to learning, even the center's official mascot, Malli the Dalmatian, spoke up and joined in the fun!

A Saturday to remember

Saturday's program was divided into two parts, and this year's celebration had a special significance - in addition to the Mall of Split's birthday, it also marked International Women's Day. On that occasion, the center's visitors were delighted with beautiful tulips, as a small sign of attention and gratitude.

The morning part of the celebration was joyful, with singing, dancing and socializing with favorite cartoon characters. Spiderman delighted both young and old visitors with his impressive acrobatics. The little ones were surprised by Sleeping Beauty and Elsa, and Cinderella with an angelic voice brought special magic, who sang a birthday song to the center.

The birthday celebration was completed with a luscious birthday cake, and to make this day a memorable one, a free photo booth was set up on the ground floor of the center, where visitors could immortalize these magical moments and take a photo with them as a lasting memento.

The afternoon brought the continuation of the entertainment program for children, and time flew by in an instant with the tricks of magician Vladimir , who left everyone speechless with his skillful moves. After the show, he gave the most curious the opportunity to experience the magic up close, demonstrating his tricks and revealing a few secrets of his skill.

The highlight of the afternoon was a special women's gathering organized by Mall of Split through the creative workshop Pineli and Wine , under the expert guidance of the Art Bottega studio. The participants had the opportunity to mark their day in the most beautiful way, expressing their creativity while painting the Camellia motif. As a memento of this inspiring experience, each of them took home a small token of appreciation and their own work of art. 

Football Sunday 

Sunday morning at the Mall of Split was filled with excitement and fan spirit ahead of the Hajduk – Velika Gorica football match. Hajduk activities combined sport and entertainment, giving children the opportunity to try their hand at various games, such as jumping in sacks, shooting cones and jumping over obstacles. The three most agile ones who successfully completed the training ground won valuable Hajduk gifts, while the others took home a photo with the mascot Rico and balloons with the recognizable Hajduk crest as souvenirs. The great atmosphere from the center also spread to Poljud, where the “whites” celebrated a 2:1 victory over Gorica and took their place at the top of the table.

To end the rich program, the little ones were entertained by the cheerful puppet musical "The Wise Head of the Little Ant", by Ivo Lesić, performed by Production Z. With playful songs about daisies, the sun, bees and ladybugs, the children welcomed spring in the most beautiful way and enjoyed stories that celebrate the awakening of nature and its beauty.

Jubilee anniversary

The center's management would like to thank all visitors who made this special celebration special by coming and participating, and emphasizes that this year's celebration is just a prelude to what is yet to come. Namely, next year Mall of Split will celebrate a great jubilee, 10 years of existence, and on that occasion, an unforgettable program full of surprises, special events and attractions is already being prepared that will once again bring together and delight all generations.
